Think Healthy Eating

These days more than ever I'm spending time in the kitchen trying to come up with healthy but enjoyable meals. Don't get me wrong, I love to cook and I love food. But like I'm sure so many other people,I sometimes get stuck in a rut of always cooking the same meals. Since we've been unable to eat out due to covid,I find I'm enjoying trying out new recipes and trying to get my family healthier. So here's an example of today's dinner. A fresh made garden salad with lettuce, cucumber, carrots, red onion, and shredded beats. I used poppy-seed dressing. And we had BBQ turkey burgers (homemade)with Swiss cheese. If your looking to make it healthier leave out the bun. I have to say I am truly enjoying sitting down every evening for a family dinner.
