Low Plank Pose or Phalakasana


  1. Tones all of the core muscles of the body

  2. Tones abdomen, chest, and low back

  3. Strengthens the arms, wrists and shoulders

  4. Prepares the body for more challenging arm balances

  5. Strengthens the muscles surrounding the spine which improves posture

I hear all the time I can't do that! Or I'm not that good at yoga! Never put yourself down.

Yoga is not about that perfect pose. Yoga is about your complete well being. I believe completely

that yoga is absolutely for every person. Make each practice your own.

I love teaching yoga and I am not perfect by far, but I absolutely love bringing love and light, sunshine and

smiles to my yoga community.
